This is the first optical illusion discovered, created sometime around 15,000 years ago, during the Paleolithic Period. This illusion resembles a mammoth/bison overlapping each other. This makes it an optical illusion because it deceives the viewer and confuses the viewer into thinking it's something else than it really is.
