Created by Professor Akiyoshi Kitaoka in
2003, this illusion appears to be moving
but it's not. This happens by tricking
different neurons by causing them to react
differently, making the image
seem like it's moving.

might have said two. There's
really just a bunch of pac-man
symbols and 'v's. Why? The
different shapes causes you to
think that there are boundaries
between same types of shapes.

Can you create this triangle in
real life in 3D? I'll give you
time. You probably didn't, right?
That's why it's called "The
Impossible Triangle".

Is it spinning? No. You're
just seeing that it is. This illusion
is similar to the snake illusion

motion, so your brain fills in the
gaps, and it appears to be spinning.

Does it look like a tunnel?
You might say yes, but the image is
a flat optical illusion. It relies
on shading to trick you.
